Hello, people! I have found that readers are clamoring (or chastising me for not writing, take your pick) for my take on this week's crazy fashion shenanigans over at Bryant Park and I just wanted to post that I am getting to it and posts will be up soon on my favorite designs for Spring 09. From what I've seen so far, though, I gotta warn you: Spring 09 has not been too exciting in the RTW category. I've been let down by some mainstays (BCBG Max Azria, I'm looking at you) and it just seems that everything is oversized, drapey and grey, white and black. Remind you of anything? Say, Fall 07? Even the colorful stuff feels so two years ago. But I haven't seen everything yet (it's been an impossible task; I do have a day job) so I'm holding out hope that someone decides to do something that isn't jumpsuits and harem pants because honestly? I cannot imagine rocking either of those two trends, though stranger things have happened.
